From the body I wanted to be able to work with the face of model's and opt out of being anonymous. I wanted to portray how women can go to the extent of plastic surgery if they don't feel good in their own skin. The idea of the lines drawn across her face was adapted from an image I saw. The idea of an individual having lines drawn on her body and face showed how insecure women can be and that they can't feel good about themselves with the way they look already. I have realised the model in my images seems too happy to have these lines on her face but her emotion should be soulless because she obviously isn't good enough so I would plan to re-shoot. .
During my photo shoot I wanted to showcase the real life barbie coming out of my model, that is the reason behind I gave her more emotion than I already did in my previous images. These images include Aliss (model) smiling and happy with her becoming that perfect so society is pleased with her. I placed her hands in that way to show the way she was adapting a plastic approach; how barbie is. The model needs to convey a sign of happiness she is becoming 'perfect.'
